National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has said he sides with Former President Mahama's comment that President Akufo-Addo needs the infamous 'obinim sticker' to be able to perform better.

According to the former Aide of President Rawlings, the untold hardship brought against Ghanaians by the Akufo-Addo led government is a clear indication that they need extra 'help' to improve their performance.

Former President Mahama on Saturday in Wa, Upper West Region, during the main opposition National Democratic Congress’ Unity Walk said: “NPP is super incompetent and we cannot sit down and relax and say because of their super incompetence, we are going to win the elections.

“We must work hard to convince the electorate that we deserve to be voted back to power, so, we won’t depend on their super incompetence.

"The incompetence is so bad. I have been watching social media and there is some new thing that has come that cures everything, they call it Obinim Sticker, the president and his government need Obinim sticker.”

“I have been watching social media lately, and there’s something that has come, and I think it cures everything. It’s the Obinim sticker, the President and his government need an Obinim sticker.

The statement which has not been received well by members and supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), as many have massively criticized the Former President.

Commenting on the criticism that has been lashed out on the Former President, Mr. Adams who was speaking on KasapaFM, said the loud cry from Ghanaians about the high standard of living and general hardships warrants such suggestion from the former leader.

“The hardships is unbearable. Ghanaians complain that now if you receive your salary, it doesn’t even reach the middle of the month and they run out of cash; always in debt. And looking at the wobbling situation in the economy now, is it not in order that Mr. Akufo-Addo and his 110 ministers will go for ‘Obinim Sticker’ to end the troubles of Ghanaians.” he told host Fiifi Banson Monday.
