National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated President Akufo-Addo is the most resourced Ghanaian president in the history of the West African nation.

According to him, he still cannot fathom why Ghanaians continue to suffer from economic challenges when ex-President John Mahama made all the resources available to President Akufo-Addo.

He said before former President Mahama left office, he put a lot of measures in place to make it relatively easier for his successor, by "bequeathing a buoyant economy driven by the mining and oil sectors."

Last week, some high ranking personalities within the NDC did the unexpected when they suddenly sat on the floor during a demonstration.

The demonstration dubbed “Kum Yen Preko” was organized by the Coalition for Social Justice (CSJ) with support from Central Democrats and Aggrieved Customers of Menzgold.

Sammy Gyamfi, who was speaking on the back of demonstration during a panel discussion on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo' said queried President Akufo-Addo over what he is using the country's resources for.

"The current administration under President Akufo-Addo has failed to live up to expectation and the level of hardship being experienced unsurpassed....it appears they (NPP) are underestimating the hardship in Ghana…all these borrowed monies, what projects are there to show for?...what is Akufo-Addo using the money for?", he asked.
