President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has added more motivation for the contestants of the finals of this year’s National Science and Maths Quiz be revealing that he would welcome them at the seat of government.

President Nana Addo took to his Twitter account to announce the juicy offer to the contesting schools who will face off for bragging rights.

The post of the president on Twitter read, “The very best of luck to WASS, St. Peters and ADISCO in today's #NSMQ final. It has been an enthralling competition, thus far, and I look forward to welcoming the winners to Jubilee House, as I did last year with Prempeh College. #NSMQ2018.”

The president, after wishing the contesting schools well, he added his juicy offer to make the competition more interesting.

It would be remembered that last year’s winner’s, Prempeh College, were given a presidential treat after they were crowned champions of the 2017 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz.

This year’s finalists, West African Senior High School, Adisadel College and St. Peter’s Senior High School are challenging for the right to the crowned the champions of science and maths in Ghana.

The National Science and Maths Quiz has gained prominence over the years due to the peaked interest it has generated lately.

Not too long ago, Dr. Elsie Kaufmann, the quiz mistress had her handbag stolen from the stage during the final contest.

The news went viral and soon, some images of the alleged thief started making rounds on social media.
