The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams has called on the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to consider jailing persons perceived to be corrupt in his administration in 2018 before daring to investigate former government officials.

Akufo-Addo recently re-emphasized his commitment to the fight against corruption hinting that the coming year will witness prosecution of corrupt officials.

He was optimistic that despite the attempts to label his government as corrupt, Ghanaians will soon witness the real corrupt people in the country who have rigged the nation of its resources.

The NDC, Kofi Adams speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen on Thursday said remains unfazed by the threat.

He called on the President to consider jailing persons who are accused of being involved in acts of corruption in his government first before seeking to prosecute the perceived corrupt persons in the former administration.
