It was all joy and merry making for the people of Kamena kese a town within Akwamu in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

Kamena kese , since 1730 has been one of the fastest growing communities, but lack of a substantive Chief in the area has denied the community of social amenities.

The queen mother for Kamena kese Nana Odwira Fante III and elders in the presence of Kamena kese folks today enstooled Yaw Adupere, a businessman with the stool name NANA OFORI YAW III as Amankrado of the town.

Nana Ofori Yaw III the Amankrado in his speech, pledged to bring all the people together, liaise with government to fix their roads, schools and create more jobs for the youth in the area.

The queen mother of Kamena kese Nana Odwira Fante III on her part urgee Nana Ofori Yaw III to be bold and honest to all Aduana people adding that it is the only thing that can take him far.

Nana Samanhyia Darko II, Gyasewahene of Akwamu and brain behind Akwamu museum in his advice to the new Amankrado urged him to to be humble and learn how to rule as well as operate an open door policy adding that, that will make him the best ruler.

Some of the towns under Kamena kese include Bosokubi, Boso, Akropong and parts of Akwamu.

Some of the dignitaries present at the occasion are Nana kwame Gyensare III Akwamu Kamena Kyidom- Hene, Nana Kwadwo Ayerakwah I, Nana Dokua III Apaaso Hemaa, Nana Odora Fante III, Mamador founder and leader of Gods life women Empowerment, Ama Pokua Agyekum, Aisha Mohammed, Nana Tawiah Asandor, Derick Asante among others.
