Hearts of Oak's Cameroonian striker, Albert Diego Dieudonne Eonde, remains optimistic about the club's future despite a challenging campaign thus far.
The Phobians have endured a turbulent season, employing three different coaches and finding themselves outside of the top four with three matches remaining.
Eonde, who joined the rainbow club in February, believes that better days lie ahead for Hearts of Oak.
While acknowledging the team's recent struggles, he emphasizes the importance of time and cohesion in building a successful side.
"I didn't start the campaign with Hearts because I arrived in the middle of the season. So far, I have witnessed our challenges in recent games, but I firmly believe that with time, we will become a formidable team that can compete for the league title and achieves success in Africa," Eonde expressed in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.
The striker recognizes that the team comprises players who are relatively new to Hearts of Oak, the Ghana Premier League, and even each other, having joined from different clubs. H
However, he remains confident that as they continue to work together and develop a deeper understanding, the team will grow stronger.
Despite the current difficulties, Eonde's positive outlook reflects his belief in the potential of Hearts of Oak. He envisions a future where the team's collective efforts and unity propel them to success both domestically and on the continental stage.
As the season progresses, Hearts of Oak will look to rally and end the campaign on a high note, laying the foundation for a brighter future ahead.
