Otto Addo has received a significant boost for Ghana's FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Mali and Central African Republic with the arrival of Alexander Djiku.

The Turkey-based defender, who missed the first two days of training due to an arm injury, will join the rest of the squad for training at the University of Ghana Stadium on Sunday. Djiku's inclusion is a key part of the build-up to these crucial matches.

Since his debut in October 2020, the former Strasbourg player has been an essential figure for the Black Stars, earning 27 caps and scoring two goals.

His presence will be vital as Ghana aims to secure maximum points in the upcoming qualifiers.
