Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan has ended his adventure with Italian Serie A side Cagliari after the end of his loan spell.

The midfielder on loan from Fiorentina joined the Sardinia side in January and helped the club secure their topflight status by avoiding relegation.

He has in a post on his Instagram page said his goodbyes to his teammates, officials and supporters of the club

"Thanks to the president and Cagliari Calcio for this great experience in which there was the beauty of this sport between suffering and joy". he said.

The Ghanaian midfielder made 19 appearances in all competitions for Cagliari in the Serie A as he helped his side save their top flight status.

Duncan began his career at Italian champions Inter Milan but could not break through the first team despite making 23 appearances and was sent on several loan spells before being sold.

He has played for Sampdoria, Sassuolo and current is owned by Fiorentina.
