Alhaji Abu Hassan, an esteemed Executive Council member and Chairman of the Northern Regional Football Association, has assumed the role of Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee.

His appointment follows the tenure of Dr. Randy Abbey, who served as Chairman for four years.

Hassan brings a wealth of experience and a deep-rooted passion for football to his new position.

A product of the University of Cape Coast, he boasts a notable football career, having played for esteemed clubs such as Great Eagles, Hearts Babies Colts Club in Tamale, Bimbilla Nanumba United, Kpandai Soccer Millionaires, and Salaga Jakpa Warriors.

Beyond his playing days, Hassan has made significant contributions to football administration, having served as the Chief Executive Officer of the now-defunct Guan United.

Currently, he owns and oversees operations at Division Two side Zanwara FC in Tamale, further solidifying his commitment to football development at the grassroots level.

Joining Hassan in steering the affairs of the Black Satellites Management Committee is John Ansah, a former Director of Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs, who assumes the role of vice-chairman.

The Committee comprises esteemed members including Edmund Ackah, the General Manager of FC Samartex, Divine Kyei, President of Nations FC, and Ismael Hamid, Manager of Premier League side Accra Lions FC.

With a diverse and experienced team at the helm, the Black Satellites Management Committee is poised to chart a course for success and continue the legacy of nurturing young talent and fostering excellence within Ghanaian football.
