Allianz Life Insurance in partnership with Ghana Post Company Limited, has launched the Post Assurance, an insurance service conveniently available at post offices across the country.

Currently 50 branches of Ghana Post are signed on to offer the two products of Apomuden and Anidaso Insurance policies.

Apomuden is a hospital cash product which makes available to the policy holder or named dependants a sum assured for each night spent on hospitalisation.

Anidaso is a funeral plan product which helps to take care of funeral costs and other living expenses during the period of bereavement.

The collaboration is aimed at creating a vast platform to reach more people with insurance policies as well as deepening the insurance penetration and creating better service experience for the average Ghanaian.

Speaking at the launch on Tuesday in Accra, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Allianz Life Insurance, Mr Gideon Ataraire, said the collaboration with the Ghana Post would help the two companies to offer better opportunities and services to the public.
