Spanish side UD Almeria have surprisingly registered their club record-signing Arvin Appiah with their B team this season.

The Ghanaian youngster joined the Segunda outfit from Nottingham Forest in a reported £8m fee- the biggest ever transfer fee in that division in the summer.

But he will kickoff his Spanish career in the Tercera Division - with the senior team in the LaLiga.

However, there is a plan to eventually have Appiah taste top-flight football this season.

The 20 year-old will be training with the senior squad, though will see match action in the Tercera - for the now.
