The defending champions started brightly, taking the lead in the 15th minute through Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah.

However, Prisons Ladies mounted a remarkable comeback in the second half to secure a 2-1 victory.

Edith Sasakor Zubano was the hero for Prisons Ladies, scoring two quick goals in three minutes.

The lanky attacker leveled the score in the 66th minute before sealing the win with a close-range finish.

The victory extends Prisons Ladies' unbeaten home run to four games, while Ampem Darkoa Ladies suffered their fifth defeat of the season.

In Kumasi, Tamale Super Ladies edged past Ashtown Ladies with a narrow 1-0 victory at the Bantama Kookoase Astroturf. Zeinab Haruna netted the solitary goal in the 90th minute to secure the win for Tamale Super Ladies.

Meanwhile, Supreme Ladies claimed a 2-1 victory over PearlPia Ladies at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale.

Mabel Doe Martey opened the scoring for Supreme Ladies in the 18th minute, with Faustina Tiwaa doubling the lead just before halftime.

Despite PearlPia Ladies' efforts to stage a comeback in the second half, goalkeeper Lydia Asagpo thwarted their attempts until Ibrahim Barikisu scored a consolation goal in the 67th minute.
