Controversial investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas has apologised to the friends and family of those he has hurt after his style of journalism come under close scrutiny.

Anas has suffered his biggest condemnation this week with many insisting he entraps and coerces his victims and would turn around to claim they are corrupt.

The undercover journalist has subjected officials from Tema Ports, Judiciary and Police department to huge embarrassment with many saying he used foul means of journalism to indict them.

With an investigation on the Ghana FA looming, many who believe the undercover journalist lures and tempts his targets with and edits his videos unfairly to put them in a bid light.

It is this form of entrapment that many, including MP for Assin Central - Kennedy Agyapong - have found fault with.

“I know some of you are not happy because I’ve dealt with some of your relatives. I will apologize. I’m sorry," Anas said at the National Media Festival Organized by the Press Foundation in Accra.

Anas in an interaction with , the journalist stated that everything he had done has been for the best interest of Ghana.

"But it was necessary because the impact on the lives of other people cannot be measured. It could happen to anybody."

Despite these apologies Anas has been condemned in many quarters as a highly corrupt journalist, filming people in embarrassing positions and wanting bribes to drop it.
