Ghanaian media personality, Captain Smart, has argued that the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, may not go to jail.

According to a report by zionfelix.net, Captain Smart said he does not see anything wrong with statements made by Nyantakyi in an investigative video titled Number 12.

Smart, who was a guest on TV Africa’s Breakfast Live told the hostess, Nikki Samonas, that “legally, I don’t think anybody can get Kwesi Nyantakyi.”

He went on to say that he has had no legal training, but the impression he had after watching the video, was that a group of people were having a business discussion.

“I am not a lawyer but the man said that come and do business; when you’re coming to bring this and we will give it to this person or that person.

You should know that he didn’t implicate anybody from what I saw, he just said something that could entice somebody to come and do business”, Smart argued.

He also noted that the only aspect of the video that caused him to agree that Nyantakyi desired to engage in corrupt practices was when the sports administrator stated that some monies could be channeled through his private company.

That, Smart argued, amounted to a conflict of interest.
