Black Stars captain Andre Ayew was the hero for Swansea City after last week's heavy humbling by WBA in the Championship game as he rescued a point for the recently out of sort Swans against Blackburn Rovers.

The away side took an early lead at the Liberty Stadium through Daniel Graham in the 4th minute of the game.

Both sides were reduced to 10 men when first Tom Carrol received his second yellow card in the 57th minute of the game.

Ten minutes later Blackburn's Bradley Dack joined him in the changing room with his second yellow card after receiving his first in the first half.

But Steve Cooper's team equalised just six minutes later as leading scorer Andre Ayew headed home.

Swansea were the better side for long periods after that, although their momentum was checked when Tom Carroll saw red

Steve Cooper and his side  are without a victory in six matches in the Championship with the gradually sliding down the table.
