Black Stars captain Andre Ayew scored for his Qatari side Al-Sadd in their win against Al-Rayyan on Wednesday evening in the Qatar top flight league.

Al-Sadd defeated Al Rayan 4-2 in their match day three clash at the Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.

Hassan Al Haidos scored in the 4th minute before Baghdad Bounedjah added the second goal for the away side in the 21st minute.

Andre Ayew scored his second goal since joining the gulf side which was their third goal in the 24th minute.

The first half of the match ended 3-1 as Al-Sadd went into the break with a lead as Hashim Ali pulled one back for Al Rayyan getting to the end of the first half.

After the break, Abdulaziz Hatem scored the second goal for the home side making it 3-2 before Akram Affif added the fourth goal to make it 4-2 for Al Sadd in a convincing 4-2 win.

The former Swansea City  ace lasted the entire duration of the game and now has 2 goals in 3 games for his new side.

He joined A Sadd as a free agent in the summer after leaving championship side Swansea City.
