Ghana's national team captain, Andre Ayew, has shared his enthusiasm following his return to French club Le Havre AC.
The 34-year-old forward signed a contract that extends through the end of the season, marking a reunion with the Ligue 1 side where he played a crucial role in their survival last year.
Ayew is poised to leverage his extensive experience to help propel Le Havre toward another successful campaign in the French top flight.
Expressing his feelings on Instagram, he stated, "The story continues. Alhamdulilah," indicating his optimism for this new chapter.
The veteran player is set to make his second debut for Le Havre after the international break, with the team hosting Lyon on October 20, 2024.
Last season, after joining in November, Ayew made a significant impact by scoring five goals, including a contender for Goal of the Season.
Prior to his stint at Le Havre, Ayew played for renowned clubs such as Olympique Marseille and FC Lorient in Ligue 1, before embarking on a successful career in England with West Ham United and Swansea City since 2016.
