Ghana and Reading FC defender Andy Yiadom is singing the praises of interim manager of his Championship side Paul Ince.

The former England International was appointed as a stop gap coach for the departed Veljko Paunovic who was sacked some months ago.

Paul Ince was appointed the inerim coach last month after the sacking of Paunovic who was sacked for poor form but the former Englishman has had mixed results winning against Birmingham City but enduring a heavy 4-1 defeat against Blackpool last weekend.

The Royals are just a place and five points adrift the relegation zone after losing at home to Millwall.

"He (Ince) was a good player!, Yiadom said.

"And he had a great career. Him coming in is helping the boys – he’s using his experience to help us.

"He’ll put an arm round the shoulder, and he’ll tell it how it is as well. Personally I like someone who is direct and to-the-point. He does that, and that’s what is needed."

The Royals will take on Nottingham Forest in their next league fixture.
