The chief of Doromakese in Nkoranza North of the Bono East region has invoked cures on National Democratic Congress(NDC) flagbearer and the parliamentary candidate over what they term as disrespect.

Obrempong Danso Abeam and his elders were made to sit and wait for 7 hours following a promise by John Mahama to pay a courtesy call when he began his tour on Monday, September 2.

Unfortunately, the former President visited Doromakese but for reasons not known did not visit the palace, an incident that has sparked anger among the traditional authorities.

According to them, the parliamentary candidate, Joseph Mensah informed them Mr Mahama was at Kintampo and will join them soon.

They waited without meeting Mr Mahama until around 7: pm when they heard he had left the town.

They have also banned any NDC campaign activities at Dromakese, invoking that the gods should deal with anyone who will vote for Mr. Mahama and Joseph Mensah on their land.

They called on a deity in the town, ‘Tom Kramo’ and other powerful gods to deal anyone who defies the ban.
