Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo played a pivotal role in AFC Bournemouth's triumph over  Crystal Palace, providing the match-winning assist after coming off the bench.

The Ghanaian forward was not the only Black Stars player on the pitch as Jordan Ayew started the game before he was withdrawn and replaced by compatriot Jeffrey Schlupp in the 70th minute.

Initially omitted from the squad due to an undisclosed illness, Semenyo surprised fans by receiving a late call to action during halftime following a lackluster first-half performance.

Substituting for Alex Scott at the onset of the second half, Semenyo made an immediate impact, delivering a crucial assist to fellow second-half substitute Justin Kluivert, who secured the winning goal ten minutes from the final whistle.

Crystal Palace had a goal disallowed by the Video Assistant Referee in the first half, nullifying Eberechi Eze's apparent goal.

Despite his absence from the starting lineup, Semenyo has been instrumental for Bournemouth throughout the season, contributing significantly to their unexpected push for a European qualification spot.

With seven goals and four assists to his name this campaign, the towering forward continues to showcase his prowess on the pitch, playing a key role in Bournemouth's quest for success.
