GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report that Kwesi Appiah has signed a two-year contract extension with the Sudanese side Al Khartoum SC.

Appiah's existing contract expires in December this year and the new deal is expected to ward off interest from the Sudanese FA who want him to take charge of the Nile Crocodiles.

This comes after being named Coach of the Year in the north African country.

The former Black Stars coach has been a huge success in the north African country since arriving at the club in 2014.

Appiah's side finished fifth in the Sudanese Premier League but they can still qualify for Africa if they win the FA Cup.
