NEW DELHI: The Cupertino-based tech giant is all set for its first event of the year 2019. The company has scheduled a special event today at 10 am PDT (10:30pm IST) at Steve Jobs Theater in its new campus in Cupertino called Apple Park. Speculations suggest that the company may introduce its much-awaited subscription service at the event. It is expected that the streaming service will compete with Amazon Prime and Netflix.

The company has a
dedicated page for events where it will live stream today's event. As mentioned above, the event will start at 10.30 pm India time. To watch catch the event live, users can go to the events page using the Safari browser on iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. The Apple device should run iOS 10 or above. The users can also use the Safari browser on Mac running macOS Sierra 10.12 or above. On the other hand, the Windows users can stream the event using Microsoft Edge.

Apple has been on a launch spree last week. The company launched slew of products including the much-awaited second generation of its earbuds AirPods. Dubbed Apple AirPods 2 the device comes with Siri support and is priced at Rs 14,900. Along with this, the company has also launched another variant of the AirPods 2 with wireless charging support at Rs 18,900.

The new Apple AirPods is powered by the new H1 chip which offers faster wireless connectivity and better battery life.

Along with this, the company also launched new iPads and iMacs. The latest-generation iPad Mini starts at Rs 34,900 while the new iPad Air has a base price of Rs 44,900. Both of them will be launching in India during the third wave. The company updated its iMac PC line-up with 4K and 5K displays.
