Apple has
finally announced an event that it will be hosting later this month in the US. The company has updated its Apple Events web page to reflect the exact date and time. It has, however, not yet revealed what will be launched. According to the teaser page on the website, the event will take place on March 25 (Monday) and will begin at 10am PDT, which means 10.30PM IST. This time, Apple is holding the event at the Steve Jobs Theatre in its home ground Cupertino, California, US. It is the same venue where Apple launched its iPhone XS, XS Max and the XR last year in September last year.
The page shows the text ‘Apple Special Event’ which doesn’t reveal much about what we may see at the time of the launch. However, the events section on the main website mentions ‘It’s show time’, indicating the arrival of a streaming service. It's too early to comment on what tricks Apple has up its sleeve this time. But some speculations and rumours have been making rounds already. Here’s what you can expect from Apple. Original video streaming service Yes, Apple may finally unveil a new video streaming service it is said to be working on
since past several months. This move is much required by the company given that other streaming companies are already sitting on a sizeable chunk in majority of the markets including India. The rumoured service is said to begin from April or May this year. News subscription service In addition to its own video streaming service, Apple is also
rumoured to introduce a news subscription service. As reported by The Wall Street Journal few days ago, this could be a single monthly bundled subscription. Rumoured 7th-Gen Apple iPod Touch might become a reality We have been witnessing several rumours since early this year indicating that Apple could be
launching a 7th-Gen Apple iPod Touch this year. The firm has not updated its iPod line up since last four years. Cementing the rumours is the recent findings in the iOS 12.2 beta. The OS version was said to feature the new icon of the iPod, that has an all-screen design.

Low-cost iPad?

It is being also said that Apple could use its ‘Special Event’ this time to introduce the much-anticipated ‘low-cost’ iPad tablet. The company did update the iPad Pro line up in October, its regular (non-pro) line up stays the same
since March last year. A report by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo from last month mentioned that the new 10.2-inch iPad may replace the 9.7-inch model.

Apple may update the iPad Mini series

Apple has been ignoring the iPad Mini tablet since years now and 2019 could be the year for its revival. The firm may introduce a
brand-new iPad Mini with updated specifications and features. It will be interesting to see how the firm places its new iPad Mini with a low-cost iPad.

AirPods with wireless charging case

This could also be one of the possibilities. The company may
introduce ‘new’ AirPods that may come with a wireless charging case. The AirPods too may come with some new health-based features.
