NEW DELHI: Apple CEO Tim Cook recently revealed that 2018 was not a great year for the company as its most popular product -- iPhone generated lower revenues. However, the company is looking forward to 2019 as a positive year and is also working on introducing new services.
Apple CEO Tim Cook told CNBC in an interview that the company is planning to expand its growing stable services this year along with some new additions. Cook said, "You will see us announce new services this year. There will be more things coming. I believe they'll be material over time. I'm not going to forecast."

Cook also added that the company has been working on various new services from years and now they will focus on those services. The company also thinking of investing it energies to the health care sector.

"This is an area that I believe, if you zoom out into the future, and you look back, and you ask the question, 'What was Apple's greatest contribution to mankind?' It will be about health," Cook said.

The company already made a big move in the health sector with the introduction of ECG feature in Apple Watch 4. The ECG app monitors the electrical pattern of the heart rate and then intimate user about any health issue. Cook further adds, "We are taking what has been with the institution and empowering the individual to manage their health. And we're just at the front end of this. But I do think, looking back, in the future, you will answer that question: Apple's most important contribution to mankind has been in health."

Recently, Apple also revealed that its wearable devices -- Apple Watch 4 and the AirPods did very well last year. The wearables business also grew by close to 50% year-on-year for Apple. Cook said that both the Watch and AirPods were popular.
