The Indian Super league has begun and Black Stars legend Asamoah Gyan is among the top recruits done by the Indian Super league this season.

Gyan is the most capped player for Ghana's senior national team and also hass scored the most goals for the Black Stars.

The well traveled Gyan has played in Italy for the likes of Udinese,Modena in France for Rennes,in England for Sunderland and has had stints in UAE with Al Ain.

Asamoah Gyan has also played in China for Shangai SIPG and in Turkey for Kayserispor .

The 33 year old has represented Ghana in three World Cups first in 2006, 2010 and in Brazil 2014.

He is the highest African goal scorer at the world cup.

The biggest name to come into the ISL this season. At 33, the Ghanaian superstar may not be at his absolute prime, but is still likely to have plenty to offer, including but not limited to finding the back of the net on a regular basis.

Gyan has spent the better part of the last decade in Asia, and has been in banging in goals for fun, especially in the UAE. He promises to have a similar impact in India. With the talismanic Ogbeche gone, Gyan will need to step up for NorthEast United and their new coach Robert Jarni to stand a chance this season.
