Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko have donated an amount of GhC 5000 to the victims of the Offinso Accident.

This was disclosed by the club's newly appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nana Yaw Amponsah during a press conference to outdoor the his new management members.

According to Mr. Amponsah, the Porcupines will also take active part in the funeral of the young footballers who perished through the accident.

On the other hand, the Ghanaian giants have also promised to assist the living but injured young footballers in various ways possible.

The unfortunate event happened on Saturday after the Juvenile footballers were bused to go through registration process ahead of the 2020-21 season Juvenile league campaign.

Six out of the 36 persons onboard the bus died on the spot and two later at the hospital bringing the total death to eight.
