Kotoko would host Karela United at the Baba Yara Stadium on October 28, 2018, as management has confirmed a second leg clash to Sunday's friendly game at Aiyinase.

The Porcupines play as guests to the Western Region club at the CAM Park, with the return leg slated for Kumasi in exactly one week.

The clash will be Kotoko's seventh at the Kumasi venue after the suspension of the 2018 Premier League in June this year.

The Porcupines beat Hearts of Oak 2-0 in the Super-Clash on two occasions, accounted for Ashgold 3-2 in the first leg of the Golden Clash and defeated Berekum Chelsea 3-0 before losing to the Ghana national team, the Black Stars 3-0 on coach Charles Kwablan Akonnor’s debut.

Akonnor brought the Porcupines back to winning ways with a 3-0 win over Burkinabe Premier League outfit, Save African Child FC, last Sunday and would seek to extend the side's impressive run in Kumasi with a win over the Premier League new entrants
