Ghana Premier League side Ashanti Gold have appointed Ricardo Da Rocha as the new head Coach of the club.

The Brazilian tactician comes in as replacement for Kjetil Zachariassen who has left for Asante Kotoko.

The former Ebusua Dwarfs coach put pen to paper on on a two-year deal with the Miners after successful talks on Monday.

His first challenge will be to lead the side in the CAF Confederation Cup competition which begins next Month.

The "Aboakese" lads have been drawn against Akonangui FC of Equatorial Guinea in the preliminary round.
