Obuasi Ashantigold have completed the signing of Burkinabe goalkeeper Mohamed Bailou in the current transfer window.

According to Ghanasoccernet.com, the Burkinabe International shot stopper has signed for the miners on a free transfer after leaving Racing Club d'Abidjan at the end of the 2019/2020 season.

The miners needed to strengthen in that department as their goalkeeper Frank Boateng has departed the club on a free transfer after failing to agree on a contract extension with the club.

Bailou, 29, joined his Ivorian club in 2018 from Burkinabe side Racing Club Bobo-Dioulasso and has in the past played for his side's national U-23 team.

He has been capped once by his national team in 2015 in an International friendly game against Kazakhstan.
