The Ashanti Regional chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, has described the General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia as a man in his menopause with regards to politics.

Antwi Boasiako, a man popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, is quite famous for fiery comments against political opponents.

Peacefmonline.com reports that Wontumi was speaking on Okay Fm's "Ade Akye Abia" with host Kwame Tikese.

The regional chairman boasted that those who won at the recent NDC party elections are those he hoped would. An outcome he says was the best for the NPP's chances in 2020.

Wontumi is quooted as saying: "The likes of Asiedu Nketia whose utterances and poor decisions has caused NDC in so many ways and this prove to the fact that he [Asiedu Nketia] together with other members of the NDC are suffering from menopause ".

He continued that they lack the capacity to function effectively and that the NPP is not perturbed about the new crop of NDC leadership.

Explaining what he meant by Asiedu Nketia's menopause, Wontumi noted that the NDC scribe has been taking decisions that expose his party to public ridicule.
