Ghanaian born Portuguese forward Asumah Abubakar Ankrah was on the score sheet for his Swiss side FC Luzern in their 1-0 triumph over FC Sion in the Swiss Super League game on Sunday.

The forward made the difference in the closely contested game which had very little to separate both side.

FC Luzern the home side started the game in a dominant fashion as they asked all the questions from the away side but they stood their grounds in defence.

There was nothing to separate both sides as the game ended 0-0 in the first half.

After recess the pressure from FC Luzern paid off as Asumah Abubakar Anrah got the only goal of the game for his side in the 57th minute.

It was the winner as neither side was able to add any goals but FC Sion pushed for parity but the home side stood their grounds as the won the game 1-0.

It is the first goal for Asumah Abubakar Ankrah since joining from Lugano in five matches.
