Accra Hearts of Oak Coach Samuel Boadu will walk down the aisle with his fiancée Felicia Apimppanta in Kumasi on Saturday, 14th August 2021, the league winner has announced.

The announcement comes just a day after the 35-year-old led the Phobians to end a 12-year-old trophy draught.

Official flyer for the wedding was released on the 12th June, a day after winning the league

The wedding ceremony will be held at the Pentecost International Worship Centre at Asokwa a suburb of Kumasi.

Boadu is now the reigning best tactician in the local after guiding Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak to break their eleven-year title jinx.

The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title triumph is Boadu's first-ever in his managerial career.

He  personally has won a total of 63 points in the Ghana Premier league so far this season- 26 and  37 at Hearts - and still has another opportunity when he travels to WAFA on Sunday.

Medeama gave him the rare opportunity in 2017 as he was appointed head coach but resigned prior to the start of the second phase of the 2020/21 season's campaign.

He took up the Hearts of Oak job midway through the campaign when the club was occupying 7th position.

Despite the club being in a precarious position, the 35-year-old gaffer worked hard to deliver the elusive 21st Premier League title.

Boadu has the chance to win the double this season as Hearts are in the quarter-final of the MTN FA Cup.
