Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger and former Black Stars and Chelsea coach Avram Grant have touched down in Accra- Ghana for a private visit.

The pair have been spotted in a picture after arriving at the Kotoka International Airport on Monday night.

It is not clear exactly why they are in Ghana except for holidays as the West African country is increasingly becoming a holiday destination for most expatriates and footballers especially with Ghanaian descent.

Avram Grant was coach of the Black Stars and led Ghana to the 2015 African Cup of Nation's finals where his near man tag struck again as Ghana lost on penalties.

Antonio Rudiger originally from Sierra Leone before moving to Germany as a refugee is also in Ghana weeks after Germany's elimination at the hands of England at the round of 16 at the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament.

Rudiger helped Chelsea win the Champions League after beating Manchester City and teammate Callum Hudson-Odoi was in Ghana few weeks ago for his holidays.
