The largest opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is reported to have pull out of the by-election in the Ayawaso Wuogon Constituency.

The NDC, have accused the Electoral Commission (EC) saying that the voters register of the constituency has been bloated.

The EC has however denied the accusations by the opposition.

Earlier today in the development of the election, there has been skirmishes in the La Bawaleshie electoral area with six people reported injured.
