Newly elected chairman for the Bono and Ahafo regional football Association, Mr. Ralph Gyambra has declared his intention to vie for the a position on the new GFA executive council.

There are two slots on the Executive Council reserved for the Regional football Association, one of which the Berekum Chelsea CEO is keen to snatch in the upcoming GFA election slated for this Friday October 25, 2019.

Revealing Mr. Gyambrah's intentions in an interview, his spokesperson Evans Oppong confirmed that the Bono and Ahafo RFA boss will vie for a slot.

"Oh yes, I can confirm to you that Mr. Ralf Gyambrah shall surely contest for the executive council slot because he has what it takes to be there", Oppon was quoted to have told the media.

"His vast experience from Bechem United as a General Manager, B/A United as a consultant and currently, being the Owner and Financier of D.C United(A Division Two Club in Sunyani) and also the CEO of Berekum Chelsea says it all.

"He is well prepared for the task ahead.” His spokesperson explained.

The astute football administrator won the Bono and Ahafo RFA Elections held on Friday at the Sunyani Technical University Auditorium by just five votes.

He accumulated a total of fifty-two out of the the total ninety-nine votes while his opponent Dr. Charles Anto also registered fourty-seven votes.
