Black Stars and Chelsea defender Baba Abdul Rahaman has made a kind gesture to aid grassroots football in the Northern Region.

The magnanimous Rahman donated football items worth GHC1,000 to help support juvenile football in Tamale.

It is the second time the left full back is making such a donation after embarking on a similar gesture at the his Alma mater Our Lady Of Fatima JHS and Young Dakpem’yili JHS all in the Northern Regional capital of Tamale.

Rahman had a stellar season after leaving Chelsea in January for Greek side PAOK Salonika where he helped them to win the Greek Cup and impressed.

Injuries have been a recurrent trouble for the full back but had an injury free campaign whiles on loan at PAOK Salonika.
