The Baba Yara Sports Stadium is set to host Ghana's 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Angola in September.

The Black Stars will face the Sable Antelopes on Thursday, September 5, 2024, before traveling to Niger for their second Group F game on Monday, September 9, 2024.

Under the guidance of Otto Addo, Ghana's national team has shown strong form, remaining unbeaten in their last two competitive matches with impressive wins over Mali and the Central African Republic in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The match against Angola is scheduled for a 16:00 kick-off at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. Ghana finds itself in Group F, alongside Sudan, Angola, and Niger.

The top two teams from each group will qualify for the 35th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, set to take place in Morocco next year.

Otto Addo's squad is eager to secure a spot in Africa's premier football tournament, a title Ghana has previously won in 1963, 1965, 1978, and 1982.
