The Baba Yara Sports Stadium pitch will be off-limits for domestic competitions until after Ghana's 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Central African Republic.

This decision aims to provide the pitch managers ample time to enhance its quality in preparation for the crucial match scheduled for Monday, June 10, 2024.

Ghana is set to face Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Monday, June 10, 2024, just four days after clashing with Mali in Bamako.

As a result, the Ghana Premier League Matchday 32 fixture between Asante Kotoko and Accra Great Olympics will now be held at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Sunday, June 2, 2024.

All relevant stakeholders are advised to take note of these changes and act accordingly.
