Elmina Sharks beat Hearts of Oak 4-2 on penalties on Sunday to clinch the maiden edition of the Bakatue Festival Cup.

Young striker Kojo Obeng Junior scored his first goal in Hearts colors in the seventh minute of the second half but the hosts hit back through substitute Benjamin Boateng who drilled a penalty past Ernest Sowah to draw his side level before full time.

Isaac Mensah and William Dankyi scored in the lotteries of the spot kick but Camara Nguessan and Kojo Obeng missed to hand the hosts the initiative.

Despite Sowah denying Samuel Arthur, Sharks took the cup when their last spot kick taker blasted home.
