Basake Holy Stars hold Bechem United to goalless draw; Vision FC edges Karela United

Basake Holy Stars secured a valuable away point in their fight for survival by holding Bechem United to a 0-0 stalemate at the Nana Gyeabour Park.

The debutants showed great resilience to deny their hosts a breakthrough, keeping clean sheets and maintaining their position just one point above the relegation zone.

Meanwhile, Bechem United remain comfortably mid-table in 9th place with 44 points.

In another tense relegation clash, Edward Agyemang’s early strike proved decisive as Vision FC narrowly defeated Karela United 1-0 at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex.

Agyemang’s goal in the 7th minute gave Vision a crucial lifeline in their battle to avoid the drop. Vision FC now sit 13th with 39 points, while Karela United remain just above the relegation zone in 14th place with 35 points from 32 matches.
