Veteran striker Ahmed Toure has sounded a note of caution to prolific Kotoko duo of Frank Mbella Etouga and Georges Rodrigues Mfegue.

The duo have been outstanding since joining the reds at the start of the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League season.

They have been top scorers for Asante Kotoko in the league and even there are talks about some French clubs monitoring their situation.

According to the Medeama player the pair should be focused on forging a career at Asante Kotoko as they can get all they desire and should not listen to agents who premise so much about contracts abroad.

"I will advise Mbella and Mfegue to be patient. Playing for Kotoko is lucrative. You can get a whole lot from the supporters. They should not be deceived by agents who will promise to take them for greener pastures elsewhere. They should be focused. The circumstances of Yacouba's exit was not the best. They should remain focused," he told Akoma FM in Kumasi.

Asante Kotoko currently sit top of the table after 16 matches and will face Hearts of Oak on Sunday in the Super Clash in Accra.
