President Akufo-Addo has urged the 100 thousand Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) recruits to be diligent and punctual at work as they begin their postings to the respective institutions.

The President has also advised the recruits to live beyond reproach at their work stations.

“I admonish our NABCO trainees to be dutiful and productive.  You must show your professional credentials to timeliness and punctuality. Live beyond reproach,”  the President told the recruits at the official launch of the program at the Black Star Square in Accra Wednesday.

The NABCO initiative  government is to tackle the rising unemployment in the country.

The beneficiaries have been put in the Civic Ghana, Revenue Ghana, Educate Ghana, Enterprise Ghana and Digitise Ghana modules of the programme.

In all, 100,000 people are to be enrolled onto the programme for the first year.

In an exclusive interview, the Chief Executive Officer of NaBCo, Dr Ibrahim Anyars, said the applicants who had been notified were those whose credentials, including educational background and national service, had been verified.
