Fast rising musician Isaac Agyapong Akowuan, stage named De K,has advised mainstream musicians to make the music industry a healthy place for upcoming ones.

The multitalented musician was responding to recent fracas between the founder of Asuoden Music, Pope Skinny and his long-time bestie and Shatta Movement boss, Shatta Wale. According to him, beefing one another does not make the industry attractive for undergrounds, adding that, Ghana music industry needs unity to grow internationally.

“Let’s encourage unity to rule our music industry. We the young ones look up to these great stars to shape our music career and it becomes unhealthy for some of us, when we hear they beefing themselves, which sometimes get very dirty. Pope Skinny and Shatta Wale should smoke peace pipe and help make the music industry attractive for us”

De K has officially dropped his debut hit song dubbed ‘Onua’, meaning friend and is overwhelmed at the pace the song is making waves.
