Ghanaian striker Benjamin Acquah found the net for Helsingborg IF in their thrilling 2-2 draw against Sandvikens IF in the Swedish Superettan on Saturday.
Acquah opened the scoring in the 27th minute, capitalizing on a well-placed pass from Ervin Gigovic to slot home and give Helsingborg an early lead.
The advantage was doubled shortly after halftime when Taylor Silverholt scored in the 53rd minute, assisted by Adrian Svanbäck.
However, Sandvikens mounted a determined comeback. Amin Al-Hamawi converted a penalty in the 71st minute, narrowing the gap to 2-1.
Despite Helsingborg's attempts to maintain their lead, Al-Hamawi found the back of the net once more in the 88th minute, securing an equalizer for Sandvikens and ensuring both teams shared the spoils.
In his 28 league appearances this season, Acquah has made a notable impact, registering five goals and two assists.
The draw leaves Helsingborg looking ahead to their next match against Örebro on November 3rd, where they will aim to recover from the disappointment of conceding a two-goal advantage.
