Frimpong Manso, the coach of Bibiani Gold Stars, has expressed his disappointment following his team's narrow 1-0 loss to Asante Kotoko in their Ghana Premier League Week 19 clash.

Despite the defeat, Manso believes his team did not deserve to come away empty-handed from the encounter.

The decisive goal came from Asante Kotoko's young talent, Peter Amidu, at the Baba Yara Stadium last Friday, securing all three points for the Ghanaian giants.

Reflecting on the match, Manso expressed frustration, particularly with the outcome given his team's dominant performance in the second half.

"We didn't deserve to lose this game. It's very painful, especially considering how we dominated play in the second half and could have equalized," he lamented.

Despite the setback, Manso remained optimistic about his team's overall performance, highlighting their improvement in recent weeks.

"It's not a game we should lose at all," he emphasized.

Currently positioned 13th on the league table with 21 points, Bibiani Gold Stars will look to bounce back as they prepare to host Great Olympics in their upcoming fixture.
