Bibiani Goldstars forward Alex Aso has credited his team's remarkable victory over Hearts of Oak to their relentless hard work and unwavering determination.

The miners secured a stunning win against the Phobians at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, marking their first away triumph in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

The pivotal moment came in the 79th minute when Mawuli Wayo capitalized on a goalkeeper error, seizing the opportunity to slot the ball into an empty net after a rebound from Sharif Shuaib's clearance off an opponent.

Reflecting on the game, Aso, who emerged as the man of the match, highlighted the challenging nature of the encounter against a formidable opponent like Hearts of Oak.

“It wasn’t an easy game because we played against a well-organized team. Hearts of Oak is a good side and one of the best teams in the league,” Aso acknowledged.

Despite the tough opposition, Aso emphasized the relentless effort and commitment exhibited by Bibiani Goldstars throughout the match.

“This is our first away win, and you can see we put in a lot of work and effort from the first minute to the last minute.

Even when we were one man down, we kept fighting until the last minute, and with hard work and determination, we got the result we wanted,” he affirmed.

Currently occupying the eleventh position on the Ghana Premier League standings after 24 matches, Bibiani Goldstars have amassed 32 points, with their recent victory serving as a testament to their resilience and fighting spirit on the field.
