It was a birthday delight for Ghanaian striker Karim Sadat as he scored the winner and also provided an assist for his side Halmstads BK in the Swedish Supperettan league.

Halmstads BK beat Vaesteraas SK at the Örjans Vall Stadium by 2-1 with the Ghanaian striker very instrumental in all two goals.

The home side Halmstads BK opened the scores through Mikael Boman from a Karim Sadat pass in the 37th minute.

It did not take long when the away side pulled parity in the 56th minute of the game as Viktor Prodell equalized.

The birthday boy Karim Sadat who turned 29 on Saturday took matters into his own hands  as he scored a the winner for the home side to give them all three points.

Compatriots Joseph Baffo and Thomas Boakye played the entire duration of the game but it was trhe birthday boy Karim Sadat who stole the headlines with his superb performance.

The Ghanaian striker has scored two goals while providing eight assists in 23 games for Halmstads BK this campaign.
