In a spirited preparatory match ahead of the African Games, the Black Princesses showcased their dominance with a resounding 5-1 win over Sea Lions.

The action started early as Mukarama Abdulai calmly converted a penalty in the 2nd minute to give the Princesses an early lead.

Building on their momentum, Beline Nyarkoh netted a quick brace within ten minutes, capitalizing on excellent teamwork to extend the lead to 3-0.

However, Sea Lions managed to pull one back just before halftime.

After the break, Stella Nyamekye added to the Princesses' tally with a spectacular goal from the edge of the box, further asserting their dominance.

The scoring didn't stop there as Maafia Nyame found the back of the net, connecting with a precise cross from Tracey Twum to seal the victory with a fifth goal.

This impressive performance underscores the Princesses' determination and readiness for the upcoming African Games, slated to commence on Friday, March 8, 2024.

The women's football tournament will unfold at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium from March 9 to 21, 2024, where the Black Princesses will kick off their campaign against Ethiopia, followed by matches against Tanzania and Uganda in Group A.
