Black Queens skipper, Elizabeth Addo scored for the first time for her club Djurgarden on Saturday in their 3-2 loss to Hammarby in the Swedish Damallsvenskan.

She left U.S. National Women Soccer League (NWSL) side North Carolina Courage to join Swedish outfit Djurgården earlier this year

Addo, signed for Courage in January this year on a one-year contract with the option of an additional year, terminated her contract just days before the U.S. football season was set to start.

The 27-year-old’s deal runs the end of the season, but there are reports there is an option to extend for a further year.

She made her second start since joining his new side over the weekend.

The Black Queens captained scored in the eight minute to give his side a draw a minute after conceding.

Madelen Janogy opened the scoring for the hosts.

Hammarby regained their lead in the 52nd minute through Emma Jansson but the visitors were pegged back again when Hayley Dowd levelled to make it 2-2.

But the joy was short-lived when Hammarby's Emma Jansson got space in the box and shot into the net.
