Black Queens coach Nora Hauptle has been actively scouting Ghanaian talent in the French D1 league, traveling to France to watch players in action.

During the match between FC Girondins de Bordeaux and FC Fleury, Hauptle observed Evelyn Badu and Ghana prospect Abigail Kim showcasing their skills on the field.

Badu particularly stood out, scoring a goal and providing an assist for FC Fleury, while Kim impressed with her performance on the flanks for Bordeaux.

Following the match, Hauptle met with both players, engaging in discussions with Kim about a potential invite to join the Black Queens.

With her focus on assembling the best possible squad for the upcoming Women's Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Hauptle's scouting efforts have taken her to various countries, including Saudi Arabia, Italy, and now France.

The Black Queens, under Hauptle's guidance, aim to make a strong comeback after missing out on qualification for the Olympic Games in Paris, a setback experienced following their defeat to Zambia in the penultimate round of qualifiers.
